Senior IT Recruiter / Team Lead (m/f)
Lisboa, Portugal
Location: Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid (2 days at the office)
Your Core Focus:
- Lead, coordinate, and support the IT recruitment team, ensuring alignment, performance, and continuous development
- Act as the senior subject-matter expert for complex and senior IT roles
- Own and drive the full recruitment lifecycle: briefing, sourcing, assessment, interviews, and offer management
- Partner closely with technical and business stakeholders, challenging requirements when needed
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and performance metrics
- Ensure a high-quality, transparent, and engaging candidate experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles (developers, engineers, architects, QA specialists)
- Prioritize and distribute workload across the IT recruitment team
- Track and analyze recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, quality of hire, pipeline health)
- Conduct technical and competency-based interviews and support final hiring decisions
- Provide regular mentoring and coaching to recruiters
- Maintain close alignment with hiring managers on pipeline progress and expectations
- Support sourcing strategy decisions and market intelligence
Must-haves:
- 5+ years in IT Recruitment, including complex and senior technical roles
- Proven experience in coordinating, leading, or mentoring recruitment teams
- Experience in fast-growing environments (consultancies, tech hubs)
- Experience working in international or nearshore recruitment
- Deep understanding of the IT market and talent trends
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with technical hiring managers
- Bilingual (English – Portuguese)
