Senior IT Recruiter / Team Lead (m/f)

Lisboa, Portugal

 

Location: Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid (2 days at the office)

 

Your Core Focus:

  • Lead, coordinate, and support the IT recruitment team, ensuring alignment, performance, and continuous development
  • Act as the senior subject-matter expert for complex and senior IT roles
  • Own and drive the full recruitment lifecycle: briefing, sourcing, assessment, interviews, and offer management
  • Partner closely with technical and business stakeholders, challenging requirements when needed
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and performance metrics
  • Ensure a high-quality, transparent, and engaging candidate experience

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles (developers, engineers, architects, QA specialists)
  • Prioritize and distribute workload across the IT recruitment team
  • Track and analyze recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, quality of hire, pipeline health)
  • Conduct technical and competency-based interviews and support final hiring decisions
  • Provide regular mentoring and coaching to recruiters
  • Maintain close alignment with hiring managers on pipeline progress and expectations
  • Support sourcing strategy decisions and market intelligence

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years in IT Recruitment, including complex and senior technical roles
  • Proven experience in coordinating, leading, or mentoring recruitment teams
  • Experience in fast-growing environments (consultancies, tech hubs)
  • Experience working in international or nearshore recruitment
  • Deep understanding of the IT market and talent trends
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with technical hiring managers
  • Bilingual (English – Portuguese)
