IT Business Manager (Nearshore)
Location: Portugal – Hibrid (2 days at the office)
Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do
You’ll bridge the gap between clients seeking top IT talent and our nearshore teams across [regions]. You’ll own the full business lifecycle from opportunity identification through successful project delivery.
Your core focus:
- Build and grow strategic client partnerships in the nearshore IT outsourcing space
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles (developers, engineers, architects, QA specialists) across nearshore locations
- Drive revenue growth through new business development and account expansion
- Oversee nearshore team performance, ensuring client satisfaction and project success
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and operations teams to optimize our nearshore model
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Conduct client consultations to understand technical needs and design tailored nearshore solutions
- Manage talent pipelines and recruitment processes across multiple time zones and markets
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close deals
- Monitor KPIs (time-to-fill, retention, client satisfaction, revenue targets)
- Resolve escalations and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
- Mentor recruitment team members and share market insights
What You Bring
Must-haves:
- 5+ years in IT recruitment within outsourcing, nearshore, or offshore environments
- Proven success managing client relationships and hitting revenue or recruitment targets
- Strong understanding of IT roles, tech stacks, and modern delivery models (Agile, DevOps)
- Experience working with nearshore markets
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice-to-haves:
- P&L or business unit management experience
- Bilingual (English – Portuguese)
- Background in IT consulting or professional services
- Familiarity with international hiring compliance and contracting
